The terminal unit for the receipt and discharge of liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) is located in the western part of the Black Sea Terminal. The unit is designed for the transshipment of liquefied petroleum gases with further delivery to the destination points via LPG carriers.

All operations for receipt and discharge are controlled via a local and remote control room using an automated control system (SCADA). Information about all operation parameters including pressure, temperature, product availability, quality of generated nitrogen, the operation mode of equipment etc., are obtained using the appropriate instrumentation installed on the technological lines and equipment. Also, the unit is provided with all the necessary systems for accident prevention and response, such as the LEL gas analyzers, emergency shutdown valves, bursting valves and fire suppression systems.
