The Republic of Azerbaijan celebrates the 2nd anniversary Victory

Today, on November 8, the Republic of Azerbaijan celebrates Victory Day. As a result of the 44-day long military operations, under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijan Army liberated more than 300 settlements, including the cities of Jabrayil, Fuzuli, Zangilan, Gubadli, as well as Shusha city, which has a special place in the history and culture of the Azerbaijani people.   

Here in Georgia several events and acts took place in the name of the memory of Martyrs who gave their lives for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

Tbilisi hosted the premiere of the play based on the poems of Leyla Aliyeva, the vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, published in the book "The world melts like a dream," translated into Georgian.

A solemn event dedicated to the Victory Day of Azerbaijan was held at school N64 in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Faig Guliyev, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia, Center for Integration of Georgian Azerbaijanis, Georgian Azerbaijanis School Youth Cultural Center, Alliance Heads and members of the Youth Center, teachers and pupils of the Azerbaijani language section of school number 64 and representatives of the local Azerbaijani community attended it. Members of the "Jeyran" national dance ensemble performed Azerbaijani and Georgian national dances.

Kulevi Oil Terminal expresses their solidarity towards the people of Azerbaijan and sincerely congratulates them on their victory. A small presentation was organized in the company as a part of this special day where the company employees discussed the historical significance of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity, the heroic acts and sacrifice of the Azerbaijani people. We congratulate Azerbaijani people on the 2nd anniversary of the Victory, which has ensured historical justice and international law, and we wish peace and prosperity to Azerbaijan!
