External IMS Audit by Intertek

On 11 and 12 August of 2022 external audit has been conducted by Intertek with the purpose auditing of Black Sea Terminal Integrated Management System. Stage 1 Audit – audit management system documentation; evaluation client's location and site-specific conditions and the preparedness for the Stage 2 audit; reviewing the client's status and understanding regarding requirements of the standard; collecting necessary information regarding the scope of the management system; reviewing the allocation of resources and agree with the client on the details of the audit; planning the audit; evaluation if the internal audits and management review are being planned and performed.


External Audit covered all important Occupational health and safety, Environmental management and quality control issues, operational and auxiliary processes, Performance and Customer satisfaction evaluation, Document control issues, KPIs, Objectives & Targets and etc.


External Audit also reviewed the status of previous recommendations. According to the Audit, the BST management system was found to be fully effective and no nonconformities were issued. BST fulfilled all recommendations given during the previous surveillance Audits and demonstrated strong ability of improvement and development of its Integrated Management System. Additionally, some important recommendations were given by External Audit team members for further improvement of BST Integrated Management System and for the preparation to the next stage of audit.


Black Sea Terminal Integrated Management System is planning to get recertification in all three standards by the end of 2022.


The Black Sea Terminal Integrated Management System was certified by all three standards by the UKAS Accredited Certification Body – Moody International LLC in 2008, after six months of operation.
