Distinctive Professional Day

In recognizing one of the most difficult professions, the Azerbaijani government has been celebrating the members of the oil and gas industry for two decades. Oil Workers’ Day has appeared on national calendars since August of 2001, when the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Heydar Aliyev signed the decree, according to which, September 20 of each year would be designated as Azerbaijan Oil Workers’ Day.

In 12 short years, Azerbaijani oil workers have helped Black Sea Terminal become a successful operation, establishing itself among the leaders in the field of oil industry. Thanks to the BST’s qualified staff, the company has implemented several new important projects, through which the company's turnover has increased, production processes became more efficient and the quality of customer service increased.

Proof of the strength of the Black Sea Terminal team can be seen in how the company has successfully operated with a full staff during the global pandemic, while remaining in full compliance with the recommendations and established rules, which is vital for their social status.

The success of Black Sea Terminal is largely due to the its great staff, who faithfully, selflessly and honestly perform their duties. The management, as always, congratulated BST employees on Oil Workers’ Day and thanked them for their exemplary worth ethic. Some of BST’s employees received awards.

The Black Sea Terminal would like to congratulate the Azerbaijani oil workers on this special  day and wish all oil workers in Azerbaijan great success in the future!
