External audit on ISO standards

On the 25th of November 2019, external auditors from the company INTERTEKconducted a four-day surveillance audit of Black Sea Terminal’s (BST) Integrated Management System.


The main objective of the external audit was to evaluate the compliance of company processes with the required international standards - ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and implemented Management and Operational procedures.


The external audit covered the following operational and auxiliary processes:


  • Review of BST IMS policies, procedures and guidelines
  • KPI reports
  • Status of recommendations from previous external/internal audits
  • Changes in external/internal issues that are relevant to the IMS
  • Performance and effectiveness of the IMS
  • Results of the evaluation of compliance with legal requirements
  • Monitoring and measurement results
  • Performance of external providers
  • Opportunities for improvement


The BST Management System was found to be fully effective and no non-conformities were issued.


BST fulfilled all recommendations provided during the previous surveillance audit and demonstrated its dedication to the improvement and development of its Integrated Management System.


BST is committed to continually improving company processes to maintain its close compliance with International Management System standards.
